Но тут внезапная гибель дизайнера на пике его популярности привела всех в шок, все только и задавались вопросом "Что будет дальше?". И вот это "дальше" произошло. Дебютирование "правой руки" Александра Маккуина Сары Бёртон было феерическим! Она не только доказала что может стать преемницей великого дизайнера, но и то, что она, безусловно,  полностью понимает его видение мира и сможет продвигать марку вперед.
  Женщины Маккуина всегда были сложными и темными, но в этой коллекции не было мрачных образов. Сара обратилась к силам природы: в ее одежде переплелись листья, цветы и языческая символика древней Англии. Все это сгладило ситуацию, создавшуюся после смерти Александра Маккуина.
